Intercom Systems

Intercom Systems

A commercial intercom system could be either wired or wireless. They are usually a little more industrial in appearance and built a little tougher for the harsher environments commercial intercoms find themselves in. We have both wired and wireless units below. Our wireless commercial intercoms greatly simplify installation in existing buildings, plus wireless intercoms give you mobility if you need it. The range of these units is several miles, which can be extended by adding an external antenna. The wired intercoms below are generally used for monitoring doors or access gates where wire can be run.

Standard Intercoms

An intercom system allows you to answer your main door/open gates from your handset inside your home.  When the call button is pressed on the Intercom outside, the intercom will ring/buzz in the house with a distinctive ring, so you’ll know someone is at your door / gate. Once answered, you’ll have a two-way intercom conversation with the visitor with the option to open the door/gates.

Camera Intercoms

A Camera intercom system works the same way as the standard Intercom but allowing you to view whoever is at your main door/gates from your handset inside your building. There is a small colour TV Screen (7”) that only you can see inside your home. When the call button is pressed on the Intercom outside, the intercom will ring/buzz in the house with a distinctive ring, so you’ll know someone is at your door / gate. Once answered, you’ll have a two-way intercom conversation with the visitor with the option to open the door/gates all the time being able to view the person.
